Sept. 2007

Discover the immigrant experience first hand by taking an educational and entertaining “Ellis Island of Baltimore" Guided Immigration Walking Tour.

Step back in time and follow in the footsteps of immigrant ancestors who first touched American soil in the nation’s number two port of entry. Explore surviving immigration sites and hear stories of exodus and assimilation into a new culture and country on the historic streets of downtown Baltimore. Our waterfront communities were the first to welcome newly arrived immigrants and still retain their strong ethnic identities.

Tours are $10 per person and are jointly presented by The Baltimore Immigration Memorial Foundation and The Society for the Preservation of Federal Hill and Fell’s Point. (www.preservationsociety.com)

Tours are Saturdays* at 12:30 PM departing from the Fell’s Point Visitor Center: 808 S. Ann Street, Baltimore, Maryland 21231

Call 410-675-6750 today to make your required reservation.

Be sure to ask about private group tours and themed tours.

* Tours will not be scheduled for October 5, 2002 due to the 36th Annual Fell’s Point Fun Festival October 5 & 6.

Additional tour dates may be added to meet demand.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds for cancellation of a tour reservation are available prior to 24-hours before the scheduled tour.

The Baltimore Immigration Memorial Foundation and Preservation Society reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours without notice due to weather or conditions deemed to be unsafe or undesirable
